This module is designed to be used both by a presenter using a touch display, or as an e-learning module.
Presentation with group discussion is the recommended delivery method for this module to support learning retention.
Presenter notes:
Silence voiceover.
Explain what teachers will be documenting their SMART goal for (performance review).
Introduce each slide, describing what the corresponding letter in the SMART acronym stands for.
Ask for examples from the group.
Review examples as a group, then separate learners into groups or partners to each write a SMART goal together.
Share out. Other teams show thumbs up/down to answer: is it a SMART goal? (check for understanding)
Have learner groups deliberate together on the correct quiz answer for 1 minute, then select the answer.
Follow up: Share learning module out to staff as a tool to refer back to as they create their own SMART goals.
